Several committees are
currently working on this event but we there are several ways you can help in
the following areas:
Silent Auction—help solicit
local businesses for donations
Theme Baskets—help your
student make a purchase of small items assigned to their section’s basket
Decorations—help with the
planning and creating of the “Jazz” atmosphere
Desserts and Coffee—help this
committee obtain desserts from booster parents
Publicity—help promote our
event throughout the community
If you own a business or work
at a local company that would be willing to donate items for our Silent Auction,
please let us know! If that is not an
option, please consider supporting this event by donating a gift card or
possibly a service such as lawn care, babysitting or meal preparation. These, we have discovered, are high demand
items at our Auction!
Students, we are asking you
to help in making our auction a success by donating items that will be combined
in a “Section Basket”. Each section will
receive a particular theme and the section which raises the most money at the
Auction will win a pizza party! The
basket theme assignments will be distributed soon.
Parents, you can help make
this a success by planning on attending the dinner with the rest of the
family. Ticket prices and additional
information about the evening’s schedule will be coming soon.
Please email Barbara Griffin
at Treasurer@summitband.com or
Joanne Romans at JRomans@sbcglobal.net
and let them know your area of interest or if you have a donation for the
event.
With your help we can make
this another great success for the Summit Band!!
